Trail Guides
Mission of the Trinity Trail Guides Peer Mentor Program:
Trail Guides are older Trinity students who act as peer mentors to incoming 8th graders. As part of an ongoing effort to support new students at Trinity, the Trail Guides Peer Mentor Program is intended to ease the transition to Trinity by providing an extra layer of support composed of encouraging, enthusiastic, and committed current students who can assist new students (8th grade and transfer students) as they begin to discover their paths.
Trail Guides:
Prior to becoming a mentor, Trail Guides must go through a peer mentor training with Mrs. Weiler, Head of Community Engagement. Trail Guides participate in 5 scheduled meetings throughout the year with their 8th graders, which involve fun activities and themes. Trail Guides are intended to be a friendly face on campus who help answer questions, provide advice on all things Trinity, and connect their 8th grader with the community.
